Celebrating Another Successful Season!

Our 2017 season has come to a close and we are so thankful for all of the hard work of all of our dedicated volunteers and for the ongoing support our sponsors and donors!

This year we supported eight local farms, purchasing just shy of $40,000 worth of local produce and donating it to six local community agencies!

With your support, we were able to donate over 14,545 pounds of produce to our partner agencies who support our neighbors in need, from previously homeless to low-income seniors.

The produce the community agencies received helped them distribute or prepare over 60,000 servings of fresh vegetables!

This year, we were able to add two additional Seattle community agency partners: Plymouth Housing and Farestart, supporting their community meals program. In our first year partnering with Plymouth Housing, Farms for Life donated over 1350 pounds of locally grown, farm fresh produce to residents at the Simons Senior Apartments in Seattle! In 2018, Plymouth hopes to expand the program to include more communities and more residents!

Thank you to Woodinville Weekly for featuring Farms for Life's work and impact over the past year. Read more...
