Farms for Life is an all-volunteer organization that relies on the dedication of our volunteer board and committee members. Works in collaboration with the Farms for Life Treasurer to execute, track, and report Farms for Life financial transactions using QuickBooks. Monthly transactions are limited and average approximately 12-20 per month. Estimated volunteer time averages 4 hours per month; peak times of the year would be January/February.

Board of Directors Position

Communications Chair

Creates content and manages all communications for Farms for Life including: social media content, quarterly newsletter content and design, website requests, and blog posts/articles. Manages communications committee and members. Attends monthly board meetings and supports collaboration with other chair positions such as Resources, Fundraising, and Operations.

Executive Board Of Director


As a member of the executive team, the Treasurer position is a pivotal leadership role. This position provides oversight and works in collaboration with the FFL bookkeeper and CPA. Compiles monthly and annual financial documents and reports. Attend monthly board meeting as well as monthly executive team meetings. Average volunteer commitment 6-8 hours per month.
